So who did the MD State Board of Elections really give your personal information to, and when?

Update!  Joseph E. Sandler is the attorney for CASA de Maryland reports The Capital (Annapolis) and yes, he did get a copy of the disk with over 50,000 names and addresses of signers but says he has absolutely no intention of using it to harass anyone, here.  There is still no further confirmation about when exactly Mr. Sandler received his computer disk.

Yesterday, we learned from Richard Falknor’s excellent report on the MD State Board of Elections supposed time-line for turning over your personal information to CASA de Maryland that they turned it over to “CASA’s lawyer,” identified by a SBE official as Joseph E. Sandler.  (For new readers, our story yesterday is here.)

There still appears to be much confusion about exactly when information was released to Mr. Joseph E. Sandler and exactly who he represents. [Update: we now have confirmation he represents CASA de Maryland]

[We attempted to get clarification from Sandler’s law firm, from the Administrator of the State Board of Elections and from Sandler himself about who exactly has possession of the disk containing 50,000 plus Maryland voters personal information and all inquiries were not returned].

So until we get further clarification we are assuming that CASA’s (or the ACLU’s) lawyer, Joseph E. Sandler,* is the Washington DC super lawyer for the Left Joseph E. Sandler of Sandler, Reiff, Young and Lamb.

Incredible!  Just think who could be pouring over your personal information at this very minute—a major Washington DC law firm connected with the DNC with all of its power to intimidate (no wonder the bureaucrats at the State Board of Elections crumbled so quickly and handed over the CD with tens of thousands of names of disgusted Maryland voters when they could easily have postponed the release).

This (instate tuition for illegal aliens bill) is a big deal to the Democratic Party in the sanctuary state of Maryland so they are bringing in the big dogs.   Is their goal to possibly disenfranchise voters and potentially suppress the vote in Maryland?

Make no mistake, there is only one reason that Sandler and CASA wanted the list—they plan to use it!

It is very likely that organizers will succeed in getting in-state tuition for illegals on the ballot for 2012 and that leaves these Washington hot shot lawyers 17 months to find ways to discourage voters.

Does Mr. Sandler know about the intimidation tactics CASA de Maryland  is already using against citizens?  Does he condone such behavior?

We are truly in a battle of David vs. Goliath and the Goliaths are the bullies of the Democratic National Committee!

This Joseph E. Sandler makes the perfect candidate for the Joseph E. Sandler who received a disk with all those voters who had signed the petition prior to May 31st:

The attorney who sent the letter on behalf of the DNC is attorney Joseph Sandler, representing the Democratic National Committee. In my view, Sandler is a thug representing a bunch of reprobates and bullies…

Another Washington labor lawyer, Joseph Sandler, who is described as a “renowned expert on election law,” has created a crow’s nest of front groups whose goal is to undermine the Tea Party movement. These groups have funneled vast amounts of union dues money, including $10 million from the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), into fronts with innocuous names such as “Patriot Majority” and “Citizens for Progress.”

Sandler is an expert in the referendum process having submitted a friend of the court brief in the Supreme Court case involving a gay marriage referendum last year, here.   Readers may recall that the petitioners personal information was posted on the internet for the world to see, and Sandler thought that was just fine by him and his fellow Democrats.  (But God forbid we would require photo ID to vote—that is invading privacy!)

So, if any Maryland voter is harassed in any way by CASA de Maryland, Progressive Maryland, One Maryland Defense, teachers’ unions, or the Maryland Catholic Conference, and the list goes on as a result of their personal information being turned over to a Democratic party apparatchik—-Joseph E. Sandler—we will know who is responsible.

You know what is so funny to me.  These big shot DC Democrat super lawyers who are supposed to be helping the poor and downtrodden and the struggling  immigrants always seem to live in million dollar houses in places like Montgomery County —go figure.   What do they call that, oh yes, doing well ($$$) by doing good!

But, it’s all for the children, right?
