Panetta: no conversations with President or Hillary Clinton as Benghazi attackers killed four Americans

Update February 10th:  Brigitte Gabriel predicts there will be more surprising revelations about what happened in Benghazi, here (on Fox News via Gateway Pundit).

Outgoing Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told the US Senate today that there was no communication with the White House or the Secretary of State as Americans spent hours fighting for their lives (and dying) on 9/11/12.

See those portions of Panetta’s testimony here and here at the Weekly Standard (hat tip: Drudge).  Heartbreaking, but not really a surprise.

Hillary:  What difference does it make anyway?

Responses

  1. We can thank Lindsay Graham for forcing Panetta to testify before the Senate. It’s outrageous that neither Obama nor Hillary (who appointed Chris Stevens as ambassador to Libya) were present while the attack was taking place on the embassy and there was no communication with anyone at the White House. Obama did not even call that night to check in and find out what was going on. Our commander-in-chief was otherwise involved in trying to get re-elected.
