We have previously established CASA de Maryland’s close alliance with international socialist and communist movements (Gustavo Torres himself is a Sandinista), so it’s no surprise he would call on the commie kids from International A.N.S.W.E.R. to protest at a recent event in Westminster, MD (see our previous post, here).
I became aware of A.N.S.W.E.R for the first time in March 2007 when the Gathering of Eagles faced them down in the shadow of the Lincoln Memorial in the pre-Tea Party days. I told you a little bit about the event here in 2010. A small contingent of patriots from Washington County, MD joined tens of thousands of veterans and others from around the country to show support for our troops. It was mind-blowing.
Our side outnumbered the A.N.S.W.E.R old hippies and college kids and Palestinians by at least 3-1 (the anti-America protest was partially funded by the Muslim America Society a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate). And, to my shock the mainstream media didn’t tell you about it—they reported (including FOX News) from the Lefty side. Michelle Malkin captured the event on film, here, if you want to see this precursor of the Tea Party (starting around the 6 minute mark you can get a feel for the size of our contingent).
Those tough Vietnam vets had their day of solidarity and payback as they shouted epithets and chanted USA! USA! USA! at the motley anti-America marchers beating on five-gallon drums and wearing outlandish costumes. I think the motivating factor for the thousands of Vietnam vets there that day was to be sure that another generation of American military men and women would not be treated as they were treated when we gave up on Vietnam.

Below is Brad Botwin’s (Help Save Maryland) report from the August 8th Rockville showing of the film, “They come to America:”
Following the highly successful citizen turnout Tuesday night for the We The People Carroll County hosted viewing of the film “They Come To America”, an overflow crowd of 100+ citizens turned out Wednesday night at the Rockville Town Library!
Hosted by Help Save Maryland and the Maryland Society of Patriots, film director Dennis Michael Lynch and his hard-hitting documentary on illegal immigration did not disappoint the crowd. Despite the shortage of chairs and the tight quarters, with many sitting on the floor/standing in the back of the room, citizens stayed through the entire 90 minute film and 35 minute question and answer session.
At the Carroll County event about 12 Hispanic students stating they were from a group called A.N.S.W.E.R., CASA of Maryland and/or some other bogus organization called Educating Maryland Kids, attempted to disrupt Dennis and the crowd by loudly marching out 10 minutes into the film.
A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) by the way publicly praises terrorists who kill U.S. troops, is anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, pro-Castro, and pro-North Korea. They also have strong feelings for Iran. It is a front group of the Stainist/Maoist Workers World Party.
See the news clip at the Westminster Patch to see how Dennis walked outside the venue to try to reason with these wannabe Che Guevara types. [LOL! When you look at Malkin’s film of the 2007 Gathering of Eagles counter-protest you will see all the Che Guevara posters on the A.N.S.W.E.R. side of the barricades—ed]
About a dozen illegal alien students also attended the Rockville Event on Wednesday night with a group called Justice for Students in America or Justice for Illegal Alien Students, no one knows for sure, leading the way.
Strangely, the illegal alien students, the same wannabe’s from Tuesday night, magically morphed from being A.N.S.W.E.R members to Students for Justice in America members. Very confusing, but not to worry however, as Maryland taxpayers are subsidizing all these flaky groups thanks to Governor O’Malley and MontCo Executive Ike Leggett, no matter what their chosen name of the week is.
This time the illegal alien students actually stayed and watched the entire film and politely provided their chairs to citizens who arrived late. I was stunned. What ruined it for these students is when they opened their mouths and attempted to defend their right to be in the country and to receive in-state college tuition at the taxpayers’ expense during the question and answer session. Obviously the Montgomery County K-12 Public School System failed them miserably (at a cost of over $200K per illegal alien student).
The students were clearly unable to make a cogent argument on their own behalf. A couple of the students actually racially profiled the entire audience calling everyone racist and told citizens to stop calling them “Wetbacks” (shades of the ’50s along the Rio Grande) and “Spics” ( see West Side Story with Italian Tony and Puerto Rican Maria in NYC).
Yikes! The students were booed and laughed into silence. Dennis did a masterful job in trying again and again to assist the dialogue between the students and the citizens but to no avail. The students just could not express their positions in plain English without rudely insulting citizens. I would have thought CASA’s Gustavo Torres and Kim Propeack would have done a better job writing talking points for these obnoxious and ungrateful brats who live off our hard-earned tax dollars.
Participants also purchased almost every copy of the Film on DVD Dennis brought along with him. If you would like to purchase a copy please go to www.TheyComeToAmerica.com
Proceeds from DVD sales are paying for Dennis’ trip across the nation to showcase his important film.
Help Save Maryland/Maryland Society of Patriots are assisting other Maryland/Delaware Communities host additional evenings with Dennis between now and August 27.
