The Maryland Conservative Action Network announced on its website late yesterday that a former adviser to Margaret Thatcher, Christopher Monckton, will be speaking at the MD CAN ‘Turning the Tides’ conference on October 29th in Annapolis, MD.
It has been confirmed that Lord Christopher Monckton, well known for his as yet unaccepted challenge to debate Vice President Al Gore about the veracity of his dire global warming predictions, will be speaking at the Turning the Tides conference. Lord Monckton will be joining Carroll County commissioner Richard Rothschild in addressing the threat to private property rights posed by U.N. Agenda 21 and its ideological offspring, Governor O’Malley’s “Plan Maryland.”
“Sustainable development” is the buzzphrase being used to camouflage this latest government power grab which threatens your private property rights. Find out more by registering to attend Turning the Tideson October 29 in Annapolis. Space is still available. Don’t forget to sign up for the post conference happy hour as Lord Monckton will be joining us there as our special guest.
