Questions raised about Muslim candidate for a state delegate seat in Virginia

I guess that title is putting it mildly!  It’s more than a few questions and it looks like Republican candidate Imad David Ramadan will have to publicly respond to critics.   Today Kent Clizbe writing at Big Peace wonders if there is a “foreign influence” behind Mr. Ramadan’s campaign.

Imad “David” Ramadan is running for the Republican nomination for the House of Delegates in Virginia’s 87th district. After a few years of generous donations to Virginia Republicans, Ramadan made his move. Investing an estimated $500,000 in his campaign, hiring out-of-state consultants, and pulling the strings of his obligated donation recipients, Ramadan appeared to believe he is owed the seat.

Read Mr. Clizbe’s post and then for a full background discussion on the evolution of the uproar visit a detailed post by Richard Falknor at Blue Ridge Forum.

By the way, Grover (Shariah is compatible with the US Constitution) Norquist is involved in this twisted tale as well.
