For anyone who hasn’t had an opportunity to sign the petition to get a referendum on the ballot for 2012 so voters can decide if they want to help fund college educations for illegal aliens, this is your last big opportunity! All petitions will be turned into the State Board of Elections at midnight June 30th, so this is the last weekend.
MD Petitions has sent out this press release today with information on where you can sign! Best if you arrive at the locations listed in the morning. And, be sure to bring your cameras and video cams to record this historic day!
Hagerstown, MD – This weekend, last chance signing events will be held at every MVA that is open on Saturdays, in select Post Offices, and at community events.
The response from around the state to sign the petition to allow SB167 to go to the ballot in November of 2012 has been astounding. Democrats, Unaffiliated voters, Republicans, and 3rd party voters across the state have signed the petition in record numbers.
The people of Maryland understand that this bill costs too much money and that we need to enforce our immigration laws, instead of breaking federal immigration policy, as this bill would do.

Your petition must be received by 6/30–NOT postmarked, as I understand it. So if your are signing online, you will need to ensure is it delivered on time.

Hi Joe, thanks for the reminder that the petition must be in hand at headquarters on the 30th. They cannot be signed on-line anyway. All you can do on-line is print out the form, but it still needs to be mailed or hand-delivered to be in the hands of organizers on the 30th.
