Sarah Palin begins East Coast bus tour…

….will visit Antietam Battlefield!

Drudge has a banner head line this afternoon announcing Sarah Palin’s upcoming bus tour of the East Coast.  According to Politico she will visit Civil War Battlefields including Antietam.  That is pretty exciting news for me since I live on the edge of the battlefield in Washington County.  If anyone finds the details, send them my way so that we can plan a warm welcome for her out here in Western Maryland!

From Politico:

The first stop will be at the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally. Palin will then travel up the East Coast in a trip that will include her first stop in New Hampshire since running as the GOP’s vice presidential nominee in 2008.

Palin will also be stopping at other spots of symbolic national significance on the East Coast, including the Civil War battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam, and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.
