One more reason to work really hard to defeat Maryland Senator Ben Cardin in November!
According to the Washington Blade (via the Juicer), Cardin is among 22 Senators pushing the DNC to incorporate gay marriage into the Dems party platform. I guess they aren’t as worried as Obama is about shoving religious black Dems from the party. Remember last I heard, LOL!, Obama is still “evolving” on the issue.
Cardin:
“Yes, I support the inclusion of such language in the Democratic Party platform. I am a cosponsor of the Respect for Marriage Act that would repeal DOMA and I am dedicated to ensuring protections against any form of discrimination, including discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. This is consistent with the Maryland legislature’s passage of legislation to legalize same-sex marriage.”
Reminder: This Thursday March 8th, the Hagerstown Tea Party will be holding a Senate candidate debate for all those hoping to be chosen to go after Cardin in the fall, here for details.

Yes! Yes! Let us hope and pray that the Democrats put that in their platform. They could rename themselves the Toast Party.
